Manchester Science Parks is continuing a good start to the year with the addition of four new tenant companies to its Corridor site during April.
Nuweb, founded in January 2010, has moved into Enterprise House and is an IT development company specialising in cloud management information systems. It uses the latest technology and its own development platform to build bespoke, cloud hosted software.
Lucid Innovation helps companies develop, prototype and produce new products, brands and service experiences. For over 20 years Lucid’s team has delivered new product ideas and design, working with clients including Siemens, Brother, SSL International, NHS Trusts, UMIP, numerous University spin outs and start up technology businesses.
Protein Technologies (PTL), formed by Paul Goddard; formerly commercial director of CoEBio3 at the University of Manchester, and Dr. Farid Khan; a PhD graduate of Cambridge University, works to commercialise a new class of proteins that will have applications in pharmaceuticals and industrial biotechnology.
PTL is also a provider of contract research services to the life sciences and bioprocessing industries, specializing in protein engineering, analysis, characterization and assay development. In addition, PTL undertakes the discovery and development of novel fluorescent and luminescent for use as diagnostics and biosensors.
Lumophore is a professional consulting company focused on serving the biotechnology industry. Employing a panel of consultants recruited from both industry and academia (Universities of Cambridge, Oxford and Manchester), they provide technological solutions in life science projects, undertake grant proposals, peer reviews, and create and license intellectual property for clients world-wide.
