Shortlist for 2011 Bionow Awards

Bionow is delighted to announce the shortlisted companies, projects and individuals for the 2011 Bionow Annual Awards. The winners in each category will be announced at the Bionow Annual Awards Dinner which is due to take place on 24th November 2011 at The Mere Golf and Country Club. The awards dinner is attended by over 200 executives from the biomedical industry across the region and is the highlight of the biomedical calendar.

The judging panel consisted of representatives from each of the award sponsors and considered over 60 applications. The panel was chaired by Dr John Stageman, Chair of Bionow Ltd along with Paul Weinberg of Kaplan EduNeering, Graham Bond of Baker Tilly, Phil Sizer of Novartis, Simon Wallwork of Semple Fraser, Keith Richardson of Waters and Richard Deed of TrusTECH.

Bionow chief executive, Geoff Davison, said: “It has been a fantastic year for entries and we would like to congratulate all of those shortlisted and thank everyone for their applications. The quality and number of entries we received is testament to the flourishing biomedical sector in the north of the country and we are proud to be celebrating its successful companies, individuals and researchers.”
